Hi everyone

I haven't written for a long time because i was very busy at work lately! ( yeah, back to real life mode). Well, i guess starting today I would be writing more often ( thanks to my new samsung galaxy tab) which will be my friend for a while because it acts like a pocket pc more than my ipod touch); And today i have decided to write down a very handy tip for you android users out there, how to install free full version android apps!

Disclaimer: This post is intended only for educational purposes only. Do not scroll down and move away from this page if you believe that this is not for you.

Finally, after a week of learning all about android, I can say that it is pretty much like the apple os but it seems that you dont need to have your device to be jailbroken first before you can install downloaded program. Why? Because my i did not do anything with my device and just googled some apps, downloaded and installed it with my file manager and presto, you now have your free apps.

Ok, so you pretty much got the gist of it. Here are the steps to download and install free apps on your android device.

1.) Think of an app, or search the android market for cool apps and try it. If it is paid then this will beuseful for you.

2.) Google the name of the app like this " download [name of app] apk". Do not forget the extension apk since it will determine if it is an android application. Possible search hits will come out of file sharing sites. ( Mediafire, 4shared, etc.) For best results, file name should contain the word "full" ao you might as well add it on your search string.

3.)Download the file and install it. Usually the system will automatically prompt you to install it. If not, you should have a download or file manager to explore it first.

Presto! You now have your full version app.

Hi guys, today I just want to quote something I have found on the Wizards Community website. It is all about the long forgotten hotkeys, yes HOTKEYS.. You might have been missing something as a veteran player if you don't memorize these keys by heart. Or if you are a beginner, this will be helpful in your progress in your MTGO career, to hasten up your matches and not be defeated due to "time-over" crucial games. Well here it is, hope you find this useful!

"The release build of Magic Online that introduced Saviors of Kamigawa brought with it several shortcuts They are performed in response to keypress combinations, as they are listed here:

F2 – Click OK

F3 – Remove all Autoyields, including Auto Yes, and Auto No; Override F4 / F6

F4 - I’m done, but give me a chance to plays spells or abilities if something happens I can respond to. If you press it during your turn and have creatures that can attack, the game will pause during the declare attackers phase. Once you attack or respond to something, the effect of F4 is cancelled and you have to press it again if you still don’t want to do anything that turn.

F5 – Lets you briefly look at your face-down cards.

F6 – Yield to everything until End of Turn (EOT). I’m really done. Don’t prompt me again this turn, no matter what happens. You are still prompted if you have to make choices.

F7 – Until the end of the current game, put all triggers with the same text that trigger at the same time on the stack automatically if they do not target. For example, if you have three creatures with bushido that all are blocked at the same time, this will place all the bushido triggers on the stack without having to click to choose the order.

F8 – Pass priority for the rest of the game if you are unable to do something. Also known as “no bluffing”.

F9 – Yes

F10 – No

Alt+PageUp– Expand the Duel chatbox in both width and height. More lines of text will be shown.
Alt+PageDown– Shrink the Duel chatbox’s width and height. Less lines of text will be shown.
Alt+Y– Push the Yes button shown when making a choice for a spell or ability.
Alt+N– Push the No button shown when making a choice for a spell or ability.
Alt+U or Ctrl+Z – Undo a mana tap

Holding Ctrl while playing a spell or ability lets you respond to it.

Chat commands

/away
You can mark yourself as being away from your computer by typing /away message in any chat window, where the message is what you want to tell other users. Your status and message will be displayed in the chat area of the room you're in. Any players who try to send you private messages will get an automatic reply telling them that you're away, but you'll still receive their messages. When you return to your computer, just type /away to show that you're back.

For example, if a player with the user name Bob types /away running a marathon, the message Bob is away - running a marathon appears in the room the player is in. When the player returns and types /away, the message Bob is back. is sent to that room.

/me
You can send a chat message that starts with your user name by typing /me message in a chat window. For example, if a player with the user name Bob types /me thinks Magic Online is the best game ever in any chat area, the message Bob thinks Magic Online is the best game ever appears.

/join
You can start or join a group chat by typing /join room name in any chat area. For example, if Bob typed /join Wombats rule! then a private message window with the name Wombats rule! would appear on Bob's screen. Other players could join that chat by typing /join Wombats rule!

/addbuddy
You can also add a player to your buddy list at any time by typing /addbuddy name. If the player's name has a space in it, put quotation marks around it, /addbuddy "player name".

/goto
You can go to the room that a player is in by typing /goto name. If the player's name has a space in it, put quotation marks around it, /goto "player name".

/eject
In a multiplayer game, players can opt to eject another player from the game by typing /eject name. If the player's name has a space in it, put quotation marks around it, /eject "player name.""

How To Jailbreak your iPhone 4.1 / iPod Touch 4.1 using LimeRa1n

Here's how to jailbreak iPhone / iPod Touch 3G (provided you have upgraded to iOS 4.1) or 4G running iOS 4.1 using GeoHot's LimeRa1n --

1. The program works in Windows or MAC OS. Provided you have an iPhone / iPod Touch with iOS 4.1 already. To check it,in your iPhone / iPod Touch go to Settings > General > About > Version.

2. Download LimeRa1n for iPhone / iPod Touch on your PC at http://www.limera1n.com

3. Connect your iPhone / iPod Touch with iOS 4.1 to your PC.

4. If iTunes launches automatically, close it.

5. Run Limera1n.

5. Click on 'Make It Rain'. This will let your iPod Touch to enter into DFU mode.

6. To enter into DFU mode, just follow the instructions on LimeRa1n window;

- Hold down both Power + Home button simultaneously until LimeRa1n tells you to release the Power button. (Do not release the Home button yet!)

- Doing this will make your iPhone / Pod Touch enter DFU mode

- Once LimeRa1n flashes "Expoiting...," release the Power button. You will then see LimeRa1n's logo on your iPod 's screen.

- Program will notify you if the process is "Done". You may now turn the power on.

7. You will now see a LimeRa1n application icon (with white rounded square) on your iPod Touch. Tap it if you are in a WiFi zone and select Cydia, install it and you are ready to go.

"Piercing The Shroud" secret mission

In the "Media Blitz" mission, where you control the Odin in the city, go to the far

bottom-right corner of the map. Destroy the red civilian building on the little floating

platform. There is a pathway to the building from the small enemy expansion base that is

just north of the player's starting position. Once the building is destroyed, "secret

documents" will be revealed. Pick the "secret documents" up with any ground unit, and then

complete the mission as normal. The "Piercing The Shroud" secret mission will now be

accessible through the Star Map. Note: You cannot play the secret mission after going to

Char, as you have to go to another planet. Thus, you must go to the load menu and load a

game from before Char to play the mission.

Last April 30, 2010 I have decided to replace my beloved iPod nano for an iPod touch (Ver 1.1.3) after about a year of friendship with the smaller variant.i bought the iPod touch for $300 and sold the nano for About $75. Sad.Maybe it is because of the connectivity Functions that an itouch has to offer. Right now I am learning a lot of things to do with the iPod touch. Including jailbreaking and a lot more. Hello everyone,

You might have noticed that my blogging days had a hiatus. My last post was sometime September - October 2009. It was mainly due to heavy workload at the office , some transitions happened and maybe today onwards is the time I could go back writing here at the net. It's not because the changes stopped but the reason is when I come back home from work at around 7 - 8am and sleep at 10 am, I usually wake up at 2pm. Imagine having 4-5 hours of sleep a day because of the extreme heatwave we are experiencing now in the Philippines. 2 days ago we had our "hottest day record of 39 C in the northern part of the country, and 36.8 C here in Metro Manila if im not mistaken. Maybe investing in an airconditioner is the answer? we'll see. :) But to think that i'll spew around 10-12,000 in having one around the summer.hmmm in not rich! and when I get some 8 hrs of sleep and not wake up in the afternoon, chances are I am not able to write blogs again because of time constraints at work (again). But heck, "I will just recover my sleep on weekends!" not a good idea? Shout-outs to Markotics. Live life to the fullest! :)

How to upload Dissidia: Final Fantasy movies to YouTube

After a long September vacation playing Dissidia: Final Fantasy, I must say that I have finished the game and unlocked all of it's secrets. And today i want to share how you can upload your Battle Replays to YouTube. I know that some of you wants to show the world how you annihilated those opponents! So I am going to teach you how to submit your Vids to YouTube.

1.)At the end of each Normal Battle (except in fighting Chaos) press the square button to Save a Battle Replay.

2.) Go to Museum -> Battle Replay -> Convert Movie Files.

3.) Select a Replay and choose a conversion type. Low(30 mb), Standard Quality (51 mb), and HD (202 mb). I personally chose Low quality which is enough for YouTube. My 1 min. match video sized for about 28mb.

4.) The replay will play but obviously it is undergoing the encoding process so it is a bit slow.

5.) After that, the game will prompt you that recording is finished. You may now play the video on your PsP home menu.

6.)Access your memory card on your PC and open the default folder where the video is saved (PSP/VIDEO/Dissidia)

7.) Log in to YouTube and upload to your hearts content.

Finally, some cheats for the game Final Fantasy Dissidia.These doesn't give you "direct" godly powers but will just let you fight GHOST players in which you can obtain high level weapons recipes to make such, if you know what I mean....(note that this works for the North American Version only!)

Unlock Extra Ghost Data and RecipesFrom the Main Menu, select "Communications Mode", then "Friend Card Settings". Select the "Edit Message" button. Erase all of your message, and then type in the password code. Upon hitting start, you will see a popup accepting your password. (Your Friend Card Message will then reset to how it was prior to entering the password). To fight Ghost Data, go to the "Offline Lobby" and select a Friend Card, then click "Ghost Battle".

Ok i admit it...I didn't log on to the net yesterday because I just got my own copy this game from Square Enix. What the heck is Final Fantasy Dissidia all about?

Final Fantasy Dissidia is an action RPG/fighting game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable as part of the campaign of the Final Fantasy series 20th anniversary. The game features characters from different Final Fantasy games and centers around a great conflict between the heroes and villains, as the god of discord, Chaos, tries to wrest control of their worlds from the forces of good. -Wikipedia

Why did I not log in yesterday? Because this game Final Fantasy Dissidia is probably the best game i have ever played for the PSP because of it's complex detailed graphics, adrenaline pumping pace, diverse storyline, and it's replayability could be endless ( it has many battle modes to choose from, not to mention online mode) in short, it kicks some a**!! My rating 5/5 stars!

Gameplay :

After 10 hours of playing yesterday, I have fully uncovered all the game has to offer :

1.) Story Mode - which enables you to play and level all of the heroes on their own storylines. This is necessary because this is the time you can avail of most of the characters equipments, accessories, and abilities.

2.) Arcade Mode - Use pre-set characters to run a gauntlet of battles. Good thing is, you also gain prizes which you can retain and use it on Online Mode and Story Mode.cool huh?

3.) Quick Battle - Engage in customizable one-on-one battles against the computer. It has experiences and prizes too.

4.) Communications Mode - Final Fantasy Dissidia adpoted the system of the Monster Hunter Franchise, using exchange of "Friend Cards" with players and play with them. Friend cards are your ID in online mode, in which others can track your playing style, game progress, and the best thing is, once you already exchanged cards with a friend, they can fight your character at home "Ghost mode" or a simulation of your character depending on your fighting style!

To all the gamers and FF fanatics over there! I encourage you to have Final Fantasy Dissidia on your PSP's. Imagine having all of the characters of the Final Fantasy Series, all in one game? What more can you ask for?

How to download saved games on your PSP Memory Stick

There's only one thing that comes into your mind...FINISH that godd*mn game! I know there is no "thrill" on this, because downloading saved games are other's personalized efforts but hey, this is effective on most action games in which you will not bother if that player's name is "zzz" or "garegjfbgkeghireg". On my previous post, I taught people on how to install a cheat program on your PSP, but today, I will tell you a "neat" substitute if you don't want to play the game normally or just save some precious time.

Of course the first step is by googling "name of the game" followed by "save psp" or "game save". Or just visit Gamefaqs.com because many players upload their saved games there. Here is the screenshot on Gamefaqs

After clicking it will prompt you to save the zip file. To open the zip file, you need to download WinRar(www.winrar.com) or WinZip (www.winzip.com). Extract to a temporary folder and plug your PSP.

Access your memory stick and go to \\PSP\Savedata\

Notice that there are different folder names. Don't worry, it is all unique and it should match the filename of the zip you downloaded. If it doesn't, it just means that it is not compatible with your ISO game. Copy the saved game you have downloaded and you're all set!

Is it? With today's countless temptations should I still include having Ipod on my gadget portfolio?

I have conducted a search using Google Trends and keyed in the strings "Ipod Nano" and "Apple.com" respectively

Notice that "Ipod Nano" and "Apple.com" had a steady decline of hits. Maybe the people are losing interest on having one or maybe it is taken for granted, who cares? Maybe sometimes you wonder and ask yourself? "Should i updgrade my old Ipod?" Or "Should I just stick with my Music Phone?" With today's global economic recession, should you still buy an Ipod?

Recently, my music phone just got wasted and being a music lover, I have decided to purchase a replacement. Instead of buying an expensive phone, i bought a cheap phone just for making calls/SMS and an Ipod, a Nano 4th Generation Monochromatic 8gb model for Php 8000. Why? because it just focuses on music, and if an item is made for that purpose, then it is something special. If you love music, you'll probably pay more attention to the sound quality.I also saved a lot of moolah rather than buying 15k-20k music phones. Practical huh?

Fast Facts

Hello again.... today i would like to talk about my netbook, the HP Mini 1109 (HP Mini 1100 series). It's been a month now since i bought this thing (July) and i want to share my experiences to you guys if you are planning to buy a netbook. First of all, I don't memorize the specs =) so I googled for it's detailed notes (source HP)

Pro's

The first reason why I bought an HP Mini netbook is because of it's design. It's black and looks like an Ipod which is very smooth and striking. The second is the price. Most of the Hp Mini netbooks comes with a Windows XP, and I only bought this model for Php 18,900, to think that Windows XP could cost you around 5,000 alone. The third is it's portability. The Hp Mini is very small and lightweight, weighs less than your standard English Textbook, The LCD monitor is 10.1 inches wide and boasts a stunning display and sharpness. The keys are large surprisingly large (Before I was hesitant to buy a netbook because I thought that it's keyboard is fit for dwarfs and the like!)

The sound is loud and crisp for a netbook. What more can I say?

Con's

Of course there are cons. I don't want to be biased because the purpose of this post is to share my experiences with potential buyers of this netbook. But don't worry it's just some minor flaws in which IMHO HP needs to work out on. First is it's short battery life. The HP Mini is packaged with a 3 cell battery which gives you about 1 1/2 hours of battery life, which is not for the Burger King-Mall WiFi peeps (heh). The Hp Mini also has limited resolution, which is not intended for gaming. But of course flash games, Window-based games, and some online games that support 1024x576 and 640x480 resolution works fine like Ragnarok Online and Ran.

So it's 5 pro's vs. 2 cons. That makes the HP Mini a superior competitor on the netbook era. So, if you are planning to get a netbook, you might want to consider putting Hp Mini on your list, a netbook that is packed with features, easy on the budget, and comes with a great after-sales service warranty.

I'm wondering many of you already know how to do this. And many people find creative ways of doing so. What other tips do you know? post a comment so we can share information. But today, let me show you how I download YouTube videos in a flash, and save them in my / your portable device (PSP, iPod,Cellphone, etc)

Web based approach - Using http://www.keepvid.com/

Keepvid has been around for quite some time now because of its ease of use. Just open your favorite youtube video, copy and paste the URL to Keepvid's main page, then click go. A prompt drop down box will prompt you to select a format. If you select .flv extension, it will be saved "as is" and you need an FLV player to play it. Just google and download an FLV player and you are all set. Moreover, an FLV file saves space and gives you a lot more room in your Hard disk to save more videos. Selecting an .mp4 extension gives Keepvid a command to "Auto-Convert" your files into a format that a simple Windows Media player can read. This is useful for beginners because it doesn't require any Video converters. PSP's video format is also MP4.

Program based approach - Using Tubehunter

Tubehunter is a very powerful tool which enables you to download videos in YouTube as well as other "flash video" sites. Hmmm.. i'm not thinking dirty but, YES, you can download any videos on other sites.

1.) Search and download tubehunter in google.

2.) Close all Internet Explorer browsers

3.) Install and run the program.

4.) Open a movie site or any other famous sites like youtube. Select a video and play it.

5.) Tubehunter window will appear and will ask you if you want to download the file.

6.) Select a format (wow! almost all formats are available) and it's true.

7.) Enjoy your video.

How to download using Torrent

Hello everyone, i just feel like writing today and i've decided to write about (arguably) one of the best thing that internet has to offer, which is called the BitTorrent or just plainly Torrent. I know that most of you already know how to use torrent but this guide is intended for noobs, not pro's (heh). And I believe i need to write about this because most of the posts here in my blog needs the knowledge of downloading torrents.

What is a Torrent ? - A torrent generally signifies a strong flow of something, especially fluids and particles, and in particular water or rain. (Wikipedia)

Whar is BitTorrent? - BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used for distributing large amounts of data. BitTorrent is one of the most common protocols for transferring large files, and by Ipoque estimates it accounted for approximately 27-55% of all Internet traffic depending on geographical location as of February 2009 (Wikipedia)

What the Hell does Torrent give me? - For me, I use torrent to download Movies, Music (Full albums), Games (heck almost all games), and Softwares.

Is Torrenting illegal? - Almost every form of media can be downloaded using this. People share their files, you download their files, and you also pass the files to others. That's how it works. It will become illegal if you download copyrighted or licensed materials so just be careful!

How do i begin downloading? - Well, without further ado, here are the steps in downloading files using Torrent.

1.)Download a Torrent program. (BitTorrent, etc.) but i prefer using uTorrent. http://www.utorrent.com/ and get their latest version.

2.)Run the program and Install it to your PC, just click on Next - next - next until it is finished.

3.)After installation, you must download a file tracker. A file tracker is a small file that will be used by your program to download your desired file. Examples of sites that searches the net for trackers are The Pirate Bay, Mininova, and my personal favorite, IsoHunt. Just google them and enter their site.

4.)Commonly at their main page there is a search button, just input your desired file. Or you can browse on their top downloads section.

5.) Once you have the file, Open it using your uTorrent program, or click on the icon just below the "File" menu button. It has a + sign shown.

A 700 mb AVI full movie file will take approx. 1-2 hrs on a 380kbps connection.

Just a reminder before downloading,
- Always turn your Anti Virus on
- Check the comments on the file trackers first before downloading them. (some are just bogus files)

Convert AVI to MP4

If you have some AVI video files on your computer that you want to use with PSP, you can convert
it into smaller MP4 video files. To convert from AVI format to MP4 format you will need a video converter
namely the OJOSoft Total Video Converter. It is a very popular AVI to MP4 converter that you can find on
the CNET Download Center. It is easy to use and will quickly convert AVI to MP4.

Step 1
Get a video converter program. Download and install the OJOSoft Total Video Converter from the CNET Download Center
(http://www.download.com/). It is free for a trial period but you will need to pay to keep it.

Step 2
Load the AVI files. Open up the OJOSoft Total Video Converter on your computer and select the AVI files that you want to
convert by locating the "Input File Name" box on the screen and clicking the "Browse" button to select your AVI files.
Step 3
Set MP4 output. Locate the "To MP4" button on the toolbar and click on it to set your output as MP4 file format.

Step 4
Set the output destination. To select the destination on your computer that you want the new MP4 files saved to just click on
the "Browse" button by the "Output File Name" box and select the location on your computer.

Step 5
Convert to MP4. To convert from AVI to MP4 just click on the large button labeled "Convert" and the conversion process will
begin. A progress bar will fill so that you can watch the progression. Click "OK" when the files complete the conversion and
you can use the new files. Enjoy!

Play SNES using your PSP

2.)extract the file using winRar or winZip.

3.)plug your PSP into your computer and copy the folder (from zip file) to PSP/Game or PSP/Game15o. (it depends on your firmware)

4.)Download your favorite games at these sites :

5.) Extract the roms as well if they are zipped and place it into the ROMS directory of the emulator itself.

How to install cheats on your PSP

Steps:
1.)File can be downloaded here http://cwcheat.consoleworld.org/downloads.php

2.)Select a CW Cheat program that is compatible with your Custom Firmware version (CFW).

3.)After downloading, Extract it using WinRar and there will be 2 INSTALL folders ,one is INSTALL 3.90 and INSTALL.(mine is 3.90, this is only an example)

4.)If you're using 3.90,put the seplugins folder from INSTALL 3.90 in the root of your memory stick.if you are using a CFW other than 3.90,put the seplugins folder from INSTALL in the root of your memory stick.

5.)Turn off your PSP (not suspend)

6.)Press and hold the R button.(do not turn on your PSP yet!)

7.)Hit the power button.you may now release the R button.

8.)Instead of seeing the normal PSP Startup logo a different a prompting screen will appear.Select "Plugins"

9.)Enable cwcheat.prx [GAME] and cwcheatpops.prx [POPS] and exit recovery mode. (dont forget to save changes)

10.)To activate cheats, start a game normally.In game, press and hold select for about 3 seconds and the cheat menu will pop out.
